Chelsea legend had a good laugh at other Premier League side legends as Chelsea strolled to their fifth title in the league since 2005.
The legends Drogba targeted were those who claimed Chelsea would not win the title this term.
When the season started and with top managers in abundance, top pundits Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves rated the Blues’ side as lagging behind. They claimed other sides would beat Chelsea to the league title.
It seemed so at first as the Manchesterclubs fired strong from the beginning of the season but after eight months, Chelsea proved them wrong.
Drogba shared the clip where the pundits were analysing Chelsea’s chances of winning the title. The clip then cuts to a part where Eden Hazard, John Terry and Demba Ba are in hysterics. The Ivorian posted the clip on Twitter with fans joining in to share their experiences of how supposed experts have failed in their predictions.
Drogba added the crying with laughter emoticon to his post. Cesc Fabregas also shared the clip on his handle as he also enjoyed it. Drogba then added a post congratulating the club for yet another Premier League win.
“Perfect way to go to bed for me and perfect way for the best fans in the world to wake up @chelseafcChampionssssss…come on bluuuessssWhat a season boys!!! Well done it’s well deserved My People !!!,” his post read.
Chelsea sealed the title, with two games in hand, after their 1-0 defeat over West Brom. Since their tweak in formation, Chelsea have remained consistent all through the season. Tottenham Hotspurs threatened their ambitions by putting up a good fight but the Blues remained steadfast until the end.
