For the majority of the 2016-17 English Premier League season, it was Chelsea the team that dominated as the team of Antonio Conte were almost always at the top of the league.

Despite this dominance that was shown by Chelsea, this does not mean that Antonio Conte should not be active in the summer transfer window as there still are a few weaknesses that Chelsea has displayed and there is 1 major issue that is currently surrounding the squad of the Italian tactician.

The major problem that Antonio Conte is wary of and attempting to resolve is involving their offensive department as the Brazilian attacker Diego Costa is believed to have a negative relationship with some players as well as the head coach himself and if reports are indeed true, Costa has not even attended the pre-season training with his teammates and an exit from Stamford Bridge appears to be in the horizon.

Antonio Conte has to find a player who can fill in the boots of Diego Costa and one of the players who was in his watch-list was RomeluLukaku but Chelsea lost the race as Manchester United already secured the services of the 24 year old Belgian attacker who arrived to Old Trafford for a price tag of £75 million, Lukaku became the 5th most expensive football signing of all time behind the likes of: Gonzalo Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and the leader Paul Pogba.

Supporters of Manchester United are hoping that Lukaku can prove his worth and hopefully properly replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is currently out injured and without any club.

This leaves Antonio Conte still having to search around for another offensive player who can become the main goal-scoring machine for Chelsea for the upcoming 2017-18 season of the English Premier League which is scheduled to kick-off on August 11.

A few of the players that are rumored to be in the radar of Antonio Conte are: Alvaro Morata, Pierre Aubameyang and Fernando Llorente.
