Two legends have already been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame and six others will join them via the votes from fans with voting expected to end next weekend. As announced by the Premier League, fans can vote for the Hall of Fame nominees until the deadline of 6pm British Standard Time (BST) on May 9.

The two legends already on the shortlist are Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer. Ex-Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United striker Shearer is the leading goalscorer in the history of the Premier League with 260 goals. Shearer won the Premier League title with Blackburn Rovers at the end of the 1994/95 campaign.

Arsenal legend Henry won two Premier League titles during his time with the Gunners. He won the Premier League title at the end of the 2001/02 season and at the end of the 2003/04 campaign. He was a key part of the Arsenal team that went through the entire 2003/04 season without a single defeat. During his time in the Premier League, Henry won the Golden Boot Award four times.

Didier Drogba is on the shortlist for the Hall of Fame alongside 21 others. He made the list with three other former Chelsea teammates namely John Terry, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard.

Drogba won two Premier League titles in his first two seasons at Chelsea following the £24m transfer to the club from Marseille in 2004. Jose Mourinho was the Blues boss when the club won those two titles. The Ivorian also secured a third Premier League title at Chelsea when he returned to the club for the 2014/15 season.
